10/10Only the 3rd visit with family as a bit of a run but the carvery has been lovely on each occasion with a good range of choices.

9/10Table was booked for 1800hrs Was shown immediately to our table. Although it was very busy service was quick and efficient. Food was very good and plentiful Staff were very helpful and polite.

8/10Table ready when we arrived and waitress quickly arrived for drinks order.Didn't see her again until I asked for bill. Food very good on main.Slow on dessert service as my family had finished their ice creams before I was served pudding.

10/10We called at a time when the restaurant was very busy but staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. Staff appeared to be very well trained and were extremely professional in their serving of our group. Definitely the best family restaurant for miles. We'll be back for sure.

10/10I find Toby Carveries vary quite a lot.A couple I have been to have had low stock of meat, dried up vegs etc. This Toby at Oulton is one of the better ones. We were shown to our table straight away and served quickly and efficiently. The food was cooked well and succulent meat and fresh vegs and a nice pudding.

4/10Carvery served on COLD plates so the food was cold before it was finished. I had turkey and pork both of which were fine but my wife selected beef which was gristly, tough and inedible. Altogether a very unsatisfactory experience. Please use hot plates!

10/10We enjoyed our visit to the Toby Carvery at Oulton. The carvery was very nice with lots of choice. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, will visit again.

10/10had a lovely Saturday lunch with the family and really enjoyed it , not too busy but could hear each others conversation . Would really recommend it , staff were very helpful

8/10We visited the restaurant via the Fork in January thoughg no points given , possibly missed giving a review.Tonight it was a lot more crowded back to pre covid busy.The staff coped well and we had very little waiting.The food was fresh and not dried up as has been in the past.We will go again.

9/10As usual here, the food is very good considering it’s pumped out quickly to hundreds. The deserts are all lovely and whilst not ‘best in class’, none are a disappointment! The service is always superb too ????

9.5/10Thursday evening at 18:00. It was busy, filled with the laughter of families and the smells of a Sunday dinner. I only had puddings with my wife but they were both lovely. The salted caramel on biscuit (kind of like caramel shortbread but less ‘short’) was delicious and a standout dish! Service was lovely, with a charming and attentive waitress. The price is more than reasonable and I’ll be going back!

9.5/10We were shown to a quiet table right on time. The staff were very helpful, I have food allergies and they delt with it brilliant talked me through the menue and sorted out everything that I could eat. Same when I went to the serving counter staff very helpful. Wood hot and very tasty. Will definitely book again.
