My sister was on a visit from America with her husband, her son wanted to take his parents, me and my daughter, for a meal and as he lives in Suffolk, asked me to arrange a restaurant it was their wedding anniversary. Everything was ideal and we were able to chat and enjoy the food.I will certainly be returning soon very good food and good value

Toby is still great value for money. A large roast dinner and pudding really fills you up. I recommend going there for Mothers day! One of the few restaurants to be open every day of the week.

Definitely not returning. It’s a hyped up restaurant and the quality of food is disgusting. I would say only nice thing was the Yorkshire puddings.

Staff are pleasant and smiling food is excellent...more than enough and reasonably priced 3 main meals 2 puddings a 3 drinks all for £45. Very good value

Been coming here for many years, however, in the last year it has not been too good. Food is ok, better this time, came in January and it was not good. Not too clean and in desperate need of refurbishment. Short staffed! Dirty disabled toilet. Such a shame as I remember some good times in this pub/restaurant many years ago.

We liked the ambiance and service at the carvery. The food was varied and delicious. And dessert was worth waiting for. When the bill arrived we were taken aback by how affordable it all was - a slap up meal for 3 people (with cocktails) which was barely £10 per person all told.

We were told to wait for 10 minutes to be taken to our table when we arrived. Then, we had to queue for the food for 45 minutes at the carvery because the service was extremely slow and also sometimes noone was serving. They brought wrong drinks. The food was not as good as other Toby's carvery. We will never go back again.

Dreadful experience. No one came to ask if we wanted drinks. No customer service. All staff wearing façe masks incorrectly. No cleaning of tables before other customers seated. Food was slopped up and gravy spilt over plate. Overheard discruntled staff moaning about other staff. Food was cold. Just a dreadful experience.

I arrived to find my table had been reserved as requested. We had all 4 meat choices available and freshly carved. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I often use this venue for friends get together as the round tables make it easy for free flowing conversations. Deserts were yummy and included some new options. I recommend a visit to anyone.
