6/10Disappointed our table was booked for 12.30 to be told the table had someone else booked on 1.25 we had not long finished eating main course & was going to have dessert but felt rushed

9/10Made very welcome. It was my brother’s 75th Birthday celebration and the staff went out of their way to make it nice for him as they realised he suffers from a mental health condition. The carvery was delicious as always. Thank you.

8.5/10Too many people queuing, too many children running about and parents doing nothing about it. Hot food and drinks are bring carried and the children could be hurt

8/10Good stuff first - as I stated food, ambiance and staff fine............... BUT......the price was not as expected. Special Instructions on Fork and Toby confirmations: Preset Menu at £10.99. Printed menu off for friend and myself to choose. Good deal so I thought.... NO! Price did NOT APPLY......2 or 3 course at Standard Price! NOT impressed! We stayed and paid but our expectations were not met. Meercat now doing a 25% discount with their APP !!!

10/10Amazing, I've been here many times and they never disappoint, I always leave a tip because the staff are worth it. Only one let down, after me and my son finished our meal, we were waiting for 15-20 minutes for our bill. My son got bored. That being said this is probably the best Toby carvery I've ever had the pleasure of dining at.

2.5/10We have been totally satisfied with other Toby restaurants but the Highwayman was not upto scratch. They were trying to accommodate far too many customers so service became sluggish,the carvery chef became rude towards the customer (my wife), we will not eat meat with pools of blood running off it but the chef insisted that's how it's cooked (lamb) my wife asked for certain cuts but got fat because she spoke up, besides that it was tough, it wasn't so much as the food but his attitude,we were completely disappointed of the overall visit.
