7/10The food was very nice and hot. The service for our deserts was very slow, infact they had forgotten about it, they said the The kitchen was cleaning and packing up.

7/10Went for a quick roast with a friend. Both had Gammon and Turkey. Lamb and Beef looked a tad dry. The crackling didn’t look burnt but tasted like it was.

8/10Very good service by a very pleasant and welcoming staff. The a choice of food is very good and it is excellent value for money. I look forward to my next visit, which is on Monday 3rd of April.

4/10The person serving the food didn't look like he wanted to be there. The food was luke warm the Yorkshire puddings were flat soggy greasy.the knife and fork looked grubby. The salt and pepper pots looked like they hadn't been wiped in ages. There were food stains up the wall

5/10Food plentiful but cold. We also noticed new food was put on top of old surely this is not up to good food hygiene standards. Food all over the floor. Gravy and sauce area dirty and also new gravy and sauces put on top of old. Three desserts requested not available. We have been there before and had a much better experience do not think we will return. Felt sorry for waitress who was great.

10/10Our waitress Evie was brilliant. Perfect mix of attention and leaving us to enjoy our meal. She is an asset to your team. Lovely girl. Lovely atmosphere, music not to loud, clean and tidy. Only problem, ladies toilet was out of order, could not be helped as this is just something no one can foresee. Look forward to our next visit. Thank you, Debbi Gibbons

9/10We were very pleased. A nice hot meal with plenty of veg on warm clean plates. Allowed to return for seconds of veg and gravy, an added bonus for the greedy ones. But the booking platform is terrible! They confirmed, then cancelled, I rebooked, and confirmed through another platform, then the Fork reinstated my initial booking! Hope that gets sorted out soon!

8/10I did not like having to book on line. The food was as good as it has always been but when I next go out for a meal I wil find somewhere where I can simply telephone to reserve a table.. You are definitly putting off your elderly customers. do you know the percentqge of people over 75 who do not like using computers?

6/10Disappointed with visit today as group of four we had the usual carvery, looking forward to puddings to be told No ice cream as machine was broken,no brownie , no sponge , no treacle pudding , staff should have informed us before we sat down and ordered so we could have made a decision wether to stay or go elsewhere, poor communication as this is a major part of their menu

5/10Having not been for a Carvery in quite sone time I was left disappointed on several levels. There was no pork available for another hour, the beef looked extremely dry, no cranberry sauce at all and the vegetable selection was poor, particularly without any added sauce or of the green variety. The manner of the Carver was quite blunt and the amount of meat offered was considerably less than in previous visits. Sadly I will not be rushing back.

5/10The meet is left under the heat lamp to keep warm which I understand but it should be covered to avoid it getting dry. The vegetables are difficult to put on the plate as the serving spoons are plastic and retaining the heat from the lamp. Some are so hot customers are unable to touch. It is a serious health and safety issue. Anyone could burn themselves.

4.5/10Was very disappointed beef dripping with blood and ham tutu was really dry waited along time for staff at start and at finish ended up paying at bar. Also Yorkshire pudding was like a rock boyfriend thought he broke a tooth at one stage very disappointed this time sorry

9.5/10The restaurant is so easy to find with ample parking, the roasts are perfect with great choices of extras and ample gravy. However the menu does have alternative choices if you are not into roasts which is ideal. The servers staff are well trained and very attentive so even though it was a very busy evening we didn’t feel we were neglected and had a great evening.

9.5/10Our first time back at Stafferton after all the Covid lock downs! Subsequently a little nervous about what to expect but need not have worried, it was excellent! Great welcome, great service, good sized portions and good food. Only down side was family group with screaming kids who treated the place like a playground! Much nicer when they left!

8/10Bank Holiday Monday Lunchtime, had a lovely carvery, and a cheeky glass of Merlot...I had Gammon and Turkey, my partner had Lamb, both very good, and service was very friendly...made to feel very welcome.

8.5/10This was our first visit since Covid struck and we were a little concerned about going, however, the restaurant wasn't too busy and tables not too close together. Staff were polite and friendly as always. We liked the way that our food was dished up by the person behind the food counter. My only criticism is that the ice cream had melted which indicated that the dessert had been waiting quite a while before being served.

10/10We used to visit this Carvery before Covid-19 and missed it well tonight we finally made it and was delighted with the food all very fresh and very tasty the staff were very professional and well on the ball and nothing was too much trouble will be back there soon

5.5/10We opted just for the Carvery which was very disappointing. Dry meat, over cooked roast potatoes and spinach, undercooked cauliflower and carrots. Just the same gravy for all the meats which was thick and tasteless. I had gammon which was dry and no flavour. It would have been nice to have a white parsley sauce with it but not the horrible 'beef' gravy. Friendly staff but this did not make up for the poor food.
