8/10One of the menu orders was completely burned and inedible. Without argument the cost was taken off the bill and a free alternative offered. However by the time we were asked if we were happy with the food the rest of the guests had finished their meals, and the burned meal had put me off wanting anything else. The staff were very accommodating and professional, but an earlier check back would have helped.

8.5/10food was excellent as always but there was an obvious shortage of staff restaurant wasn't busy but qued at the bar & servary as we left there was a qué to check in but no-one at the desk could do better

7.5/10The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, I would definitely recommend this carvery. The only downside to our visit was it was a really warm day, we were seated next to the serving area and the doors to the outside were closed, we we’re absolutely boiling which spoiled it a little bit

8/10There is ample free parking at Toby Carvery - Talke. The service was good and the carvery had a good choice of meat and vegetables (nb the food could have been hotter)

10/10Had a lovely meal today with family for Mothers Day! The Carvery was the best I’ve ever had with 5 different meats to choose from, excellent variety of vegetables, choice of different gravies and all the required sauces to go with each meat on offer, service was quick and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful, will certainly be going there again that’s for sure.

10/10My husband and myself go quite often with friends for lunch. The food is excellent and good value for money and all the staff are lovely. They make you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble, we would not hesitate to recommend.

6.5/10This is an ok venue however on our last two visits we found the roast potato’s somewhat flavourless and dry tasting. The staff here are attentive however and to some degree make up for it. The main reason though for attending a Toby is the food which as already said was disappointing.

5.5/10The food and sauces. need to be topped up more with fresh vegetables gravy sauces etc. my cabbage today was soaking wet where the water at the bottom of the serving dish had settle and not been topped up with new food. Although the taste of the food was very nice, could do with Bern a little brighter in the pub.

7/10The food was good (with a midweek meat choice of turkey, beef, gammon or pork and ample vegetables to select from). There were also no queues and plenty of spaces in the carpark.

9/10Despite the restaurant being quieter than usual, the food was fresh and very tasty. The service was also friendly and efficient. Parking is not a problem at this venue either.
