7/10The food is okay but it gets cold very quickly. I told the waitress when she asked if all was okay and asked if next time I could get it zapped in the microwave before eating it. I think if the plates were warmed up it may help.

6/10Booked a table on Saturday for 15:30, restaurant was very quiet. Went to carvery straight away as no one in the queue, then waited 2 minutes for the Chef to come out to the counter. I ordered the lamb which was basically just bone & fat. The sprouts were hard & dry & so were the pea's. No apple sauce, my sister ordered the pork. All of our meals were just warm, not hot. I can honestly say it was very disappointing. I would not hurry to go back there...

8/10I’ve never had a bad meal there and visit regularly. Please bring back the mini pudding with a drink. Sadly missed. Staff always helpful

3/10we were seated waited for waitress for about 10 mins to actually come and ask us what drinks we wanted ordered them went and got out Toby's got back to the table still no drinks they came about 5 mins after you're beef had a lot of fat and gristle in it undercooked as well very red still ,then out two granddaughters wanted puddings waitress took the order 20 mins later we are still waiting again 2nd round of drinks very slow service as well the pudding were served about 25 mins after being ordered the service was very very slow all in all wasn't impressed at all

8/10Great service from the bar man but terrible queue for food. Get two people serving the meat! A poor old lady was standing the queue for ages with her sick and no-one asked her to come to the front either. Awful wait. Won't go again on the weekend despite the lovely food.

10/10A busy weekend made easier having a lunch out My husbands 2nd time in carvery. After first experience over 15 years ago was terrible. Think this visit changed his mind.

4.5/10Even though I didn’t pay for the meal I thought the 4 items of meat were alright the portions were small compared to the amount of potatoes and vegetables on display, also everything wasn’t very hot just barely hot.

2/10Brilliant. You let me make a booking for my mums 60th birthday. Invited loads of family. Travelled from Rickmansworth to find a note on the door saying "Closed due to a fire in the kitchen". Last time I book a Toby or any restaurant with you. Thanks for nothing.

8.5/10Our waitress was friendly, thoughtful and supportive. The food was spot on. Unfortunately the person servering the meat accidentally knocked off my Yorkshire pudding from my plate with his arm. He was upset when I asked for a replacement, saying I'd made him feel dirty. I said I'm sure he's not dirty but I wanted my food to be touched by utensils and not body parts. He put the Yorkshire pudding back in the tray; it should have been removed. This interchange made me feel uncomfortable.

A nice meal. Served quickly but noticed a longer wait for customers arriving later. Meat was fresh but some of the vegetables looked a little tired. Good value for money.

8.5/10As always we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our waitress, Diana I think, just back from holiday, was super attentive and helpful. Much appreciated. The food was good, the beef really delicious, and plentiful. Thank you, we shall be back soon.
