9/10We booked for 12:30 thinking it would be quieter than 1… absolutely manic but the service was quick and the food was great. Had a short wait in a queue for the carvery but it was worth it. Food extremely fresh and staff busy swapping stuff over for freshly made food. Despite the business no issues and served good food quickly. Pudding and bottomless drinks also great. They didn’t actually have our Fork booking but got us in. No fault of the Fork - Toby had booked us somewhere miles away…

3/10The restaurant was dirty. Our table had just been wiped over but was still wet. The food was cold particularly the vegetables. The salmon and prawn Wellington had a rubbery pastry which was awful and could not be eaten. The carvery should be served hot and not cold. Altogether a very disappointing meal to present to our American visitors

7.5/10The waitress was really lovely, just felt as last pieces of gammon and turkey was dry. The veg were overcooked and less option with dessert.

10/10Warm welcome Good table Really friendly atmosphere Caring attentive hostess Great carvery, best I've been to. Very high quality food and generous meat helpings. Choice of 5 meats . Excellent Fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked. Carvery service is humourous, efficient. good value for money Car park spaces . Highly recommended

10/10First time return visit since early 2010. Parked okay and I could see the place was pretty full. We got shown to our table and ordering protocols were pleasantly explained, Our drinks orders were taken, and were waiting for us on our return from the carvery counter. There was a queue of about 15 people in front of us at the carvery counter. This was quickly reduced by the very professional friendly and good humoured serving guys., who were working as a well oiled machine. Superb teamwork! We were served within 8/10 minutes. I chose the King sized carvery and was pleasantly surprised by the generous helpings of meats I was given. The vegetables were fresh and there was a good variety to choose from. Fresh, well cooked ,delicious and cracking value for money. A very pleasant visit, great atmosphere,very cheerful and attentive staff, probably the best carvery I've been to. Thank you , highly recommended !

6/10Easter Sunday. Shame, I was sat right near the servery, separated by a screen, I explained to the server that I was a woman of a certain age and was really hot, to no avail. The Yorkshire pudding was flat and very gooey and stodgy, inedible. I have had a lot better
