I eat a Toby about every 6 weeks. Why do I keep going back? because I enjoy eating there,! Over many years I have eaten there and on only one occasion have I been dis-satisfief with the meal. I like the food, I like the price and find the staff to be warm, welcoming and efficient

We were very impressed with this Toby carvery. There was a good selection of vegetables which were all kept hot and topped up. A full range of meats available. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. The best Toby we have visited in a long while.

Overall very good. The rice pudding desert was not good, too small amount for the cost, 1 small layer that just covered the bottom of bowl and from a packet, not hand made.

No problem with the food as such but there was some confusion about the vegetarian option. Could have been made clearer as we were seated that we needed to order it straight away before going up for carvery.

I visit this carvery every few weeks and been going for at least 20 years. The food is always hot and there are plenty of veg. The service is 'spot on' and the staff are always freindly and professional. Look forward to my Honeycomb Sunday to finish the meal. See you in a couple of weeks.

Generally the food is excellent but this time tge man n cheese was very dry, no cheese sauce, the gravy luke warm. We dis advise the chef. The pleasant attitude of ALL the staff makes this a pleasant all round visit.

Arrived early but our table was ready. Food looked ok but we felt it was on the cold side especially as we were sat next to a drafty window were the radiator was not working.

Lovely atmosphere - really clean and well kept. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Great service and food was great. No rush to move on and able to sit in bar for further drink.

We have not been to Toby carvery for a long time due to COVID. I'm sorry to say that on this occasion the food was disappointing especially the roast potatoes as they had been on the hotplate that long that had overcooked

Have been a regular customer for years. Disappointed with the gravy sauce which was very bland. There were only 4 types of vegetables available today. I asked for beef only and were served only 2 slices of meat.

Very very disapointed to be honest. This was our 2nd year beacause last yer was bril. I booked a table for 13 and i must say the girls that greeted us kerry and i thenk emma were very helpful and very friendly but the food thats another story. There was no beef or lamb at our time if we wanted beef we had to wait for another joint to come out of over which was well over an hour which made some in our group very disapointed. The the serving spoon handles were to hot to handle and two of the children 12 and 14 year olds said the carrot spoon was to hot to handle and when i checked i had to wrap a serivet ( tissue ) round Handle. It was sad to see the chef pull the large wing of the turkey and throw it in the bin i would have loved to have that on my plate. What a wasre of good food. Apart from that. The food was beauitful. Severing staff nice. Greeting staff brillant. Cost good. We got 25% discount. Thank you.. P.s The greeting girls could not do enough for us. Very friendly and full of smiles . Kerry could not do enough for us.
