10/10This was our second visit, and we were impressed with warm hospitality and excellent service and food. The ambiance is nice and classy and we sat at the table next to the one half of Ant & Deck TV tandem, which clearly means that the restaurant is frequented by people with educated palate and good knowledge of international cuisines. We started our dinner with crisp cold Mojito with fresh minty taste, and Aperol/orange spritzer and our starters were fried corn cakes and prawn crackers- both tasty and delicious. My main dish was Vegan, mushroom, tofu, and cashew nuts, with steamed jasmine rice and I asked for some mild chilli oil with that and it was delicious. My wife had two starters as her main course and she was happy with taste and presentation of the dishes. It must be said that as the owners of our own restaurant and being in hospitality business for 30 years we are regularly going out to other restaurants, and this restaurant is very high on our list. 10/10From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by our lovely waiter. We ordered 4 starters which came very quickly & piping hot, all delicious. We chose two specials for main courses, a very generous & tasty duck with basil & a fabulous, very tender beef dish which I think was called Crying Tiger. Again, quick to arrive, hot & very generous portions. Will definitely return.

10/10Last night my friends and I had another fabulous meal at Torthai . It’s a fabulous local find in Chiswick . We have visited several times and it never fails to impress. The calamari is without a doubt the best I have ever had. I actually had two portions it was that good . The duck dish with rice is so tasty and tender . The portions are extremely generous and it’s absolutely delicious. My husband has duck pad thai and he was extremely pleased with his choice . Personally I think this the best Thai in town !!!! I rate it 10 out of 10 . The staff are very friendly and it’s a pleasure to visit this restaurant. If you are trying to decide on a Thai meal this is the best …….book it now !!!!

10/10Delicious food I have enjoyed wonderful Thai food in the capital over the years and must admit it is rare to find a bad one. For me the standout Thai restaurant is Torthai; the food is both delicious and the plates are filled generously. My guests and I agreed that the calamari is probably the best we had ever tasted. The service is friendly and respectful. I look forward to my next visit.

Average Thai food (the Panang curry was particularly bad with dry paper-thin beef slices, watery and tasteless) served by staff who were more interested in the take away and delivery drivers than those dining in. Unforgivable and inexcusable not to have a hot curtain above the door to prevent the cold wind getting inside. Smell in the toilets was awful. When paying the bill the girl pretended that she didn’t know that we had booked via The Fork.

2/10Food was decent, the place was super cold and seemed to be eating outdoor in the middle of January. Service was really bad and atmosphere was the worst. Will not recommend or go back.

8/10Lovely food, good service, but a bit cold inside. Would definitely help if they took the casings off the top of the radiators as this is blocking all the heat in. Would go back thought to eat there again.
