I had been welcomed in with a cheerful smile and seated speedily. The service was impeccable and the food quality really excellent. I can't give 5 stars on food because the portions were too small in relation to the the price. Almost 15 pounds (14.90) for a pretty small cup of a delightful lamb curry and 4.80 pounds for a same sized egg rice bowl are probably too much (plus service). Everyone is struggling with cost of living and either lowering prices or increasing portions would encourage more people to come back to this cozy family restaurant, not a "fine dining" venue.😊

10/10Our favourite Laksa. We’ve enjoyed it dozens of times and keep coming back. Sarah is always amazing and today Aquila also looked after us very well. Thank you Sarah and Aquila for another super tasty Laksa.

8.5/10The food was delicious and generously portioned - the laksa was the best we’ve had in a long time, and the keropok lekor was a revelation. Service was friendly and not rushed in any way. Would definitely go back and try more dishes.

10/10The two female owners / staff were really friendly. We had some of the Malaysian coffee which has a nice chocolate / nutty taste. The Beef Rendang was delicious along side some of their noodles.

7.5/10Very homely restaurant, had a nice chat with the staff and they offered us drinks on the house. Food is not the best but acceptable, though I am Malaysian so am used to having authentic Malaysian food hence may have higher expectations than most. Overall a good Malaysian place for London standards, price was reasonable as well - considering it is convenient for me will probably visit again

8.5/10Food & service was great. They did add the discount but they also added the extra charge with no description. The charge was same as discount so we didn’t really get any discount. We didn’t say anything as the food was really good.

4/10The food was okay, however was pricey for the quantity they gave especially for the roti canai. We didn’t like the service at all, the waitress was rude (seemed to be rude after knowing we are coming via Fork with 20% discount, as she was friendly with some other diners). If you are using the Fork discount, please note that they add a compulsory 15% “tips/gratitude” which basically offsets almost the entire discount.

10/10The service was warm and friendly and Nothing was too much trouble. Our table was served by a young man in training and it was lovely to see the supportive role of the manager (sorry, can't remember her name). Menu was limited but food was tasty and portion size is quite good . We all left feeling very satisfied. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Mr Lim for a pleasant evening!

10/10\It's small but the food was just amazing. I had Mixed Chinese noodles, my friend had Beef Redang, The food and the sides was fresh & very delicious. The place is small, but I will be going back as soon as possible. The menu was very Malay, with lost of Singaporean & Indian influences.

A great place to go for authentic Malaysian Chinese food. Sarah the daughter of Uncle Lim’s Made you feel welcome the food was delicious do try it Croydon delicious and warm and friendly service a must go to place for warm friendly service and authentic flavours!
