Absolutely lovely experience with family for birthday, we had mocktails (mint and mango, but choice of about 10) and a large starter platter to start with, samosa, onion bhaji, shaslik, potato fritter, and a few others all tasted amazing with lots of flavour but nothing super spicy. For the main we had Thali each, so a big bowl of fried onion rice, 3 different curries, garlic naan and poppadoms, we struggled to finish it all - but tasted so good it was a shame to leave it, everything was cooked to perfection and the server Abu so nice and friendly. We finished off with chocolate cookie and Vegan ice cream, and really couldn’t fit another mouthful. Service and taste of everything was awesome, myself and my OH had take away from here before which was lovely, but eating in was a brilliant experience and our guests loved it so much too planning our next visit ! Highly recommended, next time I think we will try the a la carte menu and choose some other dishes

This is a lovely, welcoming neighbourhood vegetarian Indian restaurant serving excellent, distinctive tasting food. Dishes are served very attractively and the menu comes with clear descriptions of the ingredients. We had a delicious meal here tonight. The food tasted fresh and the naans and the parathas were gorgeous. An added bonus is that this restaurant serves ras malai amongst other desserts. A thoroughly enjoyable evening where we were fed and looked after extremely well.

As a retired international, hospitality professional and Indian cuisine enthusiast, our experience at Veg Darbar was excellent. The dishes were interesting, authentic and very tasteful and the Fork deal made it all the better. I would have no hesitation in recommending this welcome addition to local dining to both vegetarians and meat eaters alike! We will definitely return, very soon. Thanks for a very enjoyable dining experience.
