9/10We have been here before and the food was good as we expected. The squid starter was nice and crispy and the Tomahawk was cooked to our liking although the broccoli in the roasted vegetables could have been cooked . Overall a lovely experience

7.5/10waiters weren't good very rushed ignored it was like ordering from a takeaway kebab shop. cod was 8.5/10 the curry should have been more thick, it was nearly a soup but still had decent flavour so not all bad

10/10Awesome backdrop view of iconic tower bridge made our day. outdoor seating with fire pit was very romantic. my entire family enjoyed and also the food was very good. Good service as well... definitely recommend to my network and this fork deal was the one which made me try out this place.

6/10Well, the location is pretty perfect and that’s all about this restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant is weird. The service was great. The food didn’t live upto the expectations. My friend has pasta and it tasted like too much tomato and the chicken burger I had was way too tangy. Need a lot of improvement regarding food. No going back again.

7/10The place was under construction and it was noisy so we went outside. View was amazing but it was cold! Food was excellent, and the service was okay. Despite there being not many people I felt the waiter often forgot about us.

3/10The food was ok, but overpriced. I ordered a pasta with cheese, when the pasta came there was barely any cheese, I asked if they could add more cheese and got as an reaction: "it's finished". Above this, you need to be carefull while paying with debit card, always take the payment terminal in your hands, after inserting the pin it will give you the option to automatically make the currency swap to your currency or to pay in pounds, if you choose the first option it will charge you way higher fees.

6/10When we arrived we were told our table had been given to someone else after booking online. We were hoping for a bridge view but ended up looking at a wall. The staff seemed really busy and a bit stressed. The food came out and the chicken was cold and the fish and chips was warm.

2/10As we were also staying in the Hotel, we booked the restaurant. First of all they couldn’t find our reservation, this was after waiting 10 minutes to be seen. Eventually we got seated, service slow. Food arrived, nothing to write home about, standard burger that lacked taste and seasoning. All this was accompanied by a virtual nightclub next door blaring out music so you couldn’t hear yourself think let alone chat. Avoid would be my suggestion.

5.5/10My family and I chose this restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday, primarily for its picturesque view of the Tower Bridge. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The food quality was substandard, reminiscent more of pub fare, if not worse. Our steak lacked flavor and presentation, while the pesto tagliatelle tasted overwhelmingly of basil and olive oil, lacking any complexity. To add to our dismay, there was a mishap with our order, although the manager attempted to rectify it, the overall taste and quality of the food remained unsatisfactory. Regrettably, the experience felt more like a tourist trap, especially considering the hefty price tag attached to the mediocre meals. In hindsight, we would have been better off opting for drinks only, rather than a full-fledged meal. Overall, it was a disappointing and overpriced dining experience, failing to live up to the expectations set by its promising location.

4/10It had a good start, we were well welcomed and given a table with a nice view. The waiter served well and we got our drinks and food without any issues. They cleared our table after we finished the main course, however after that no one come to check on us to find out if we wanted to have dessert or drinks and the restaurant wasn't extremely busy. It's been at least 30 to 40 minutes and we decided to leave, so we stoot up and went to someone to pay. We were provided with a bill without our discount on it, which we asked to be corrected. It was our 9th anniversary and that was mentioned on the reservation, but there was no acknowledgement of it at all. Overall a very disappointing service experience, which we do not recommend.

4.5/10I am amazed that this restaurant, that had quite good reviews when I booked, was receiving very bad reviews by the time we visited. These poor reviews unfortunately were true. The service was poor. There were plenty of staff gathered round laughing and chatting, but no one to take an order for quite a long time. When the food arrived we had 2 plates when we had ordered 4 and the second 2 arrived at least 15 mins later. The menu wasn’t very inspiring, but we wanted somewhere to eat in the hotel, rather than outside. We all ordered fish and chips and although the chips were good and well cooked all of the fish was dry and tasteless. In fact it seems likely the fish was either kept warm or heated up to order. The mushy peas were beyond disgusting. We were hungry and ate most if it, especially the chips but it was not good, and I would not return. I am amazed that this restaurant in a fabulous position in an iconic part of London is so poor. In the Tower Hotel??? This was to celebrate a special occasion and I must say the experience was hugely disappointing and not to be repeated

10/10The Vicinity Restaurant has a wonderful scenery of the Tower Bridge at night. We had a group of 6 and our guests were so delighted to dine here. The food we all ordered came out hot and presentable. Our pallettes were satisfied and we did not leave anything on our plates. The cocktails & beer were so enjoyable. We have dined here 3 times in 2 days.

9/10No complaints. The food was nice if not a bit pricey but I suppose everywhere is nowadays. We were served our food by a robot that spoke! We will eat there again and have before. Best of all is the fantastic location overlooking Tower Bridge which is spectacular lit up at night.

3/10Great views, staff were uninterested, limited menu and the burger was a level you’d get at a school dinner. Plus, the chips were cold…. Will not be going again!

5/10Read reviews prior to booking for a special occasion. Can’t help it not to be disappointed as the food was below average. Had a salad that had too much oil, looked unappealing, and tasted worse! Service was almost too keen to get us out!

6.5/10I'm not sure there is a better view in London for dinner or drinks. With that, we wish we had just stuck to drinks. There could be lines around the Tower of London for this place if only the menu was broader and the food a higher quality. Still, I will be back for beer, fries, and the killer view of Tower Bridge.

9/10The staff were excellent, very attentive. It was lovely sitting by the window and the restaurant temperature was just right for us. The moules and black forest brownie were delicious, I would have liked more asparagus in my tagliatelle.

7/10The service was good & location nice but unfortunately the 1/2 chicken meal was very dry and lacked any flavour and the red velvet prawns were effectively just crunchy deep fried prawns with a red crumb coating. That does not make me think of velvet by any means.

4/10After receiving our drinks and starter we never received our main courses. Cca. 45 minutes later when asking a member of staff what is happening he promptly offered he brings it straight away at which point I declined and asked for the bill. Horrible service, never set my foot in this restaurant again. It is beyond me how can someone forget about a table. Imagine a tube driver forgetting to stop at a station! What's more I had to ask for the service charge to be removed from the bill for the service we didn't even receive. I thought they are decent enough to not even include it in the first place. Only two positive things were the nice view over the Tower Bridge and the nice vine

The staff were really friendly. Only there are something should not happened in such restaurant, which was the tea arrived without giving the tea bag but just water n the tea set arrived without giving a plate. The table was abit small for put the dishes. But overall we had a nice time there. The bathroom super clean with hand lotion too.
