Great food, had Chennad Prawns, daal, chana masala, poppadums, idli. Service was generally good but asked for water 3 times before we got some. They have alcohol free beers that are not on the drinks menu. Would go again for the food quality plus for 20% off via The Fork app.

The food was great as always, however there were a few things that we didn't like about the service. Initially they were going to sit us near the window but we prefer sitting inside so requested to be seated inside, and even though the restaurant was empty for the duration of our visit they sat us on the side right in front of the forks and knives shelf which they were sorting out and taking in front of instead of seating us away from their work. Also we ordered starters and mains and when we hadn't even started our starters they brought out mains which then made it really awkward to eat as there was no space on the table to eat comfortably. We felt as though they wanted to rush us out even though the restaurant was empty .

Despite booking two days in advance, we were not seated appropriately upon arrival. Furthermore, the seating provided was extremely cold and uncomfortable, ultimately leading us to leave and dine elsewhere.

Great decor and service but food was very poor! No taste and over cooked food. We had lamb chops but hardly any meat on it. No chance of going back any time soon. If you want a good Indian in hatch end then go to social dhaba next door!

The service was awful. We were sat at our table for an hour before drinks arrived. The food came up at different times so some people were finished when others starting. Some dishes didn’t arrive. The staff were inexperienced and not interested. Would not return.

The food was good and staff were responsive when approached. Drinks menu was great and tasty drinks. Service needs refining for a restaurant on Hatchend high street as some orders were taken wrong and the bill subsequently was not amended.

This is the second time at this restaurant, the first time was excellent , this time the service wasn’t as good although the food was very good. We had to wait a while to be served, the waitress couldn’t hear anything we were ordering and kept asking us what it was , our drinks never came out together in fact i had to keep asking where the other drink was and the wait for food was too long. I’m hoping this was just a blip as the restaurant was busy when we arrived

This was my second visit within a week and that’s because the food is superb. When we were there on Friday, it seemed that they weren’t expecting it to be that busy, so felt that the service wasn’t great. But last night the service was better except they still forgot to give the chatney unless asked. I would recommend them to get better napkins and cutlery, as their rates are of a expensive restaurant.

The service was so poor! After we were seated, no one came to our table to take our order for over 30 mins. We kept seeking the attention of the staff for drinks but they were too busy or frazzled by the confusion. The manager was disorganised and not going around the tables to check if everything was in order. The table next door, elderly couple, got their starters served after over 30 mins wait but without cutlery…they had to wait another 10-15 mins to get someone’s attention to get the cutlery. Later when they kept asking for the main meal, the staff got their final bill instead! We needed up eating each other’s food as they were all coming in instalments! To top it off, we were charged service charge for this pathetic service. We were too pissed off to even challenge this service charge! Thr least they could’ve done is not charge service! Never coming back here and this was told to the staff but their response was the restaurant was opened 2 months back! And how does that matter…

First visit to Sarasas in Hatch End, pleasantly surprised. Lovely decor, delicious food, service was a little slow but it didn’t ruin the evening. We ordered the Chicken 65, an absolute must, the dry chilli paneer, nice but way too spicy and the chicken kottu roti which was amazing. Will definitely be going back to try more dishes.

Great ambience, music snd serene atmosphere. Food amazing - each dish with individual flavours and fantastic vast menu. Service was amazing too.
