Alors oui, le restaurant est un peu au milieu de nulle part quand on ne connait pas forcément la région mais la découverte et la surprise sont charmantes ! Beau cadre, terrasse agréable, service jovial et cuisine fameuse ! Merci pour ce moment ! To ALL the staff working on the evening of August 15th, thanks for everything ! It was really delightful to meet you guys !

The setting was lovely, it’s very off the beaten track, and the staff were friendly and helpful however there was clearly a lack of communication between front of house and the kitchen. We sat down at 7:40pm and finally got our starters around 9:15pm after chasing up where they were. Our main courses arrived at 10pm (again after chasing - the waiter assumed we were waiting to order desserts it was getting that late), one of which came with the wrong side. By this time it was pretty much dark and as our table wasn’t under any lights it was difficult to even see the food. Most of the other tables however , with much larger groups, seem to have their meals brought out promptly and had pretty much eaten three courses, paid and left by the time we received our main course which I think just made it worse. Drinks were also not offered readily - we had to attract a waiters attention to even get a second drink. A shame because the location was lovely and the food was good - when it finally arrived!

We had mixed experiences. The location is great. The magret de canard and the rainbow trout were great. The fish and chips, one of the simplest dishes to make, were not fried long enough. The desserts were great, as well as the prices. At some times it took too long for the waiters to respond. All in all: great place, great food, but with a lot of potential to be even better.
