7.5/10Unfortunately it’s difficult to have ambience in a basement especially since we went at 6 pm and the whole place was empty, they could’ve put us upstairs!

Waiters so nice. Very welcoming. Very personable. However I must have mentioned 4 times that we came only for pizza as my child struggles to eat out due to Intolerances, they advertise pizza on the website. No pizza available so we really struggled to find alternatives. Starters salted & a strange sauce with the calamari, octopus uneatable. Ceaser salad so salty it was hurting our mouths so we couldn't eat it. Still charged for starters & drinks, none of which we enjoyed. Left hungry & a little frustrated as we had a show booked & no time to eat elsewhere. Won't be eating again until tomorrow. Won't be returning. They could have told me a pizza palace was next door knowing myself & my daughter had allergies & they couldn't safely serve us. I thought this was a rather selfish move on there part. Especially as this is health related. Wish I had refused to pay.

Second time I have been there and cannot fault anything. Food was fab & service excellent. I have gluten intolerance and this was dealt with properly by the staff - who were very knowledgeable. I was also in a rush this time and staff were fab with a quick food service

7/10Must try the arancini. Carbonara was a bit too cheesy. Merlot red wine was quite good just a wee warm even for a red wine. Downstairs is amazing: quiet and stylish.

8.5/10Right in the square at Covent Garden. Great for kunch in the sun watching the circus acts In the square. Food has some interesting touches from a knowledgeable chef

The staff at this restaurant, which I visited for the first time, were incredible. First, we were offered an amazing location to dine on a balcoony overlooking Covent Garden piazza. The waitresses looking after us were so attentive and responsive, but not at all intrusive. The food was deliciious and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - you know when you need those little extras - such as mayonnaise with the little roast potatoes, or honey with the camomile tea. It was an absolute pleasure to dine at Vyta and,, whilst we didn't eat inside, the interiors looked stylish and gorgeous. I will definitely be returning again.

5.5/10The service was shockingly slow. We had to wait 10 mins to be seated for a 12.45 reservation. Then wait for over an hour to be served the mains.

8.5/10Nice location Cosy ambience Fast service I’d leave the customer free to choose whether they want to sit inside or outside. Food very tasty but I would serve the grated cheese on the side rather than on the pasta. I’d also check with the customer for allergies or intolerances.

7.5/10The starters were fab. We had the octopus and prawns. My friend had the slow cooked Ragu and this was unctuous and rich. I had food envy. I had the fish for my main and this was average. But overall it was pretty good with a 50% off

9/10Really nicely decorated place and conveniently located. The food was good/ great. Simple dishes done fairly well. The Carbonara was a bit on the salty side but the parpadelle was lovely. Overall, it was a lovely meal. I would go back, maybe not immediately but i would go back

5/10second visit: not very welcoming [on a Wednesday lunch time, over priced drinks & 50% discount on food a la carte only so according to the manager desserts are not on the a la carte when promotion is " 50% off food"

8/10I loved the ambience and interior design of the restaurant. The service was great too. The pasta however, was disappointing. It lacked taste and didn't taste like proper italian pasta.

6.5/10Basement dining area with loud music on a Saturday night. Food and drink was over priced for what was not a dining experience. Could not have a proper conversation. Food was good but not what I would expect for the price paid. £8 for a cup of chips ?? I would not recommend but I do appreciate this might appeal to the younger generation

9.5/10A lovely restaurant and the food was delicious. We were there for an early lunch due to our theatre show and there were not many people there. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Great service. Will definitely visit again next time we visit London

I really don’t understand the hype with this restaurant. My friend and I mainly went for the maritozzo dessert but it had already run out before our 5.30pm dinner reservation. We ordered the polenta and beef for starters as well as the burrata and sweet potato crisps. Both were ok but we were overwhelmingly disappointed by the mains. I ordered the cod, which came with no sides. I asked what were the options as there was nothing on the menu and was told either chips or salad. I chose the option of chips, thinking they would be around £3-4. £8!! I was shocked by the price and asked the waiter if this was correct, to be which he sheepishly said yes. My friend ordered the rump steak with chips - go to Flat Iron. It’s half the price and twice the quality. Considering it was 50% via the Fork app, the bill still came to £54 (13.5% service charge). Vyta is basically a tourist trap. Expensive prices for bad quality food

7.5/10Very lovely restaurant, staff helpful and friendly. Portions of food is small and my slow cooked beef pasta had hardly any meet which to me was very disappointing. The food was tasty just a shame it wasn’t enough and at 9pm all they had on the dessert menu was banoffee pie.

A very nice restaurant with a great balcony overlooking Covent garden. The food was delicious and the service very attentive. The ambience was perfect , with soothing backgrounds music allowing diners to talk without needing to shout.
