9/10Food was good and tasty but a a little pricier than would have liked. Not a huge fan of the decor -Was a bit overwhelming. Waitress was really attentive and friendly.

10/10steak was soft and tasty... and a massive thank you for the surprise Birthday dessert... was very boozy but was light and tasty 😋 wveryone enjoyed the meals and i will definitely be back to attack the Tomahawk

10/10Amazing little family-run restaurant; I was quite surprised by the quality of the food, both in presentation and taste. The service was very professional and not intrusive. We were given recommendations and had the menu explained to us. The tapas were very tasty, and the steaks were cooked perfectly. There was a great variety of drinks, and we tried their specialty, the tangerine rum sour, which was delicious. Will definitely be back soon.

10/10Incredible! I went there for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was amazing. They had so many great things to try, so I gathered a whole different group of friends as an excuse to go again, and the consistency of this place is out of this world. This time, we went for the Prime Rib on the bone, and there was a fight for the bone at the table. They’ve also just introduced the TOMAPORK—wow! You must try it; it’s smoky, tender, and comes with its own gravy. It’s just delicious. We also ordered several sides, each one better than the last. I cannot fault this place. Last time, we went for cocktails, but this time we had a Malbec that was recommended, and it was a great choice. I love this place.

10/10We were gobsmacked by this place. We went there with a group of friends after seeing a bunch of good reviews, and our expectations were pretty high. Let me tell you, don’t take the location for granted because you are going to be treated really well here. They explain the menu promptly; there’s only a wine list, but it’s understandable because there are a lot of rums to choose from, and their staff are really knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. Now, about the food—the surf tapas were amazing. We ordered all of them, particularly enjoying the octopus. The Tomahawk was a showpiece, and we also tried the dairy cow dry-aged steak, which was out of this world. I can’t praise this place enough, but make sure you book in advance as it’s very intimate and only open on weekends.

10/10Wow! Phenomenal. It should be illegal to serve steak any other way. Hands down, the best steak I have ever had—it was honestly that good. You can taste the passion in every bite. The dry-aging process really makes a difference. You are welcomed and guided so that you feel comfortable from the very beginning. I chose the Argentine wine, which was surprisingly good for the price. Then, the manager recommended trying a sipping rum, and it blew me away—I didn't know rum could taste that good, as I'm usually a whiskey drinker. This was a whole new experience that I’m eager to repeat over and over again.

10/10Phenomenal Dry-Aged Steak I am so lucky to live so close to this hidden gem. They have an amazing selection of rum, great service and knowledgeable staff. I had a very good cocktail recommended by the waitress and the tapas are a great complement on the side.

6.5/10I love this place but. TV on (football) and it was very distracting. Personally I don't want a TV in a restaurant, not sure why anyone would. Tapas mediocre. £8 for a few pork scratching, presented on a base of coleslaw cabbage (presumably to make it appear there were more than there were) seemed excessive as that weren't that great. Cold plates for hot food is always a no no for me. Very small amount of hallumi. Quite disappointing to be honest. Will go back for steak as that is incredible but tapas, for me, fell below expectations. However service was great from the staff - friendly and helpful.

10/10What a fabulous place. Food (steak) was AMAZING. Lovely to meet the owner who spent time chatting to us, as he seemed to do with all tables. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really a superb meal. Will definitely return.

10/10This is a tiny restaurant but so much fun! The staff were lovely and accommodating and the food was wonderful. The pirate theme is whimsical but not overbearing. We traveled over an hour to dine here because it looked intriguing online, and we weren’t disappointed. Would definitely come back!

10/10Wandle Pirates is so incredible I find it tough to find the words. The meal was perfect on every level, with the steak the best I've had anywhere. We love this restaurant and go at any opportunity, taking friends and family regularly. Even writing and thinking about it now, I just want to go again.
