10/10We had a loveley evening and the food was exceptional, as we would say „einfach göttlich“. A big thank you for the vegetarian courses, they were imaginative, unusual and just delicious. We will be back again.

10/10We visited to celebrate our birthdays. On arrival we were warmly greeted and seated at our table. As the menu is a preset tasting of many courses with paired wines we began our dining experience. Every offering was delicious and sensibly sized to avoid any discomfort with lots of variations. The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable and a definite recommendation for any food and wine lovers.

+1Lovely atmosphere and nice spacing between the tables. Service was good with two new staff who were somewhat daunted but didn’t let the restaurant down. Food was absolutely delightful. The only thing I would have liked was the menu and drinks flight info with the meal rather than at the end.

10/10Incredible food - little pops of flavor from start to finish. Everything was so intricate and delicate! Excellent service and generous with the wine/drinks (which always helps). It's a tiny little restaurant with gave us a cosy and authentic feel! X

10/10Absolutely fantastic food - we had the 5 course champagne brunch, finished off with a little Happy Birthday extra treat. No menu so every dish is a surprise but wonderful. Staff very attentive and friendly.

+3Wonderful food and at times quite a revelation! Who’d have thought parsnip ice-cream could be so delicious! A delicious meal from start to finish with lovely wines perfectly matched. Service was efficient but still low key - thank you for a lovely evening!

10/10An experience I will not forget, Some very unusual courses some I thought excellent others maybe a bit far out for me. The wine flight went with the food well, Service was perfect being friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable on both the food and wine. My only slight negative was the cost which I felt was a little high.

9.5/10We were initially a little concerned to find we were the only diners - however we shouldn’t have worried! Sufficiently intimate surroundings to ensure we enjoyed lovely food and excellent service. The dishes were beautifully presented and the flights - 1 wine and 1 non alcoholic - perfectly suited the courses. A splendid night out!

10/10Absolute gem of a restaurant. This isn't just a meal, it's an experience. The food was delicious and also interesting. The service was exceptional, we felt well looked after but also left alone when we wanted. The most surprising part was that the non-alcoholic drink pairing was really well curated and felt just as special as the alcoholic pairing. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.

10/10This was our third visit and always the food has been excellent. We like the taster menu format as we get to taste lots of Different dishes without feeling full. Food is always a very high standard, but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

10/10This was our second visit to Wilder, and this time I took my parents along. My father is a very difficult person to please, yet he and my mother also had a fantastic dining experience, and also agree that this has to be one of the best restaurants in the country. 10/10Outstanding 8-course surprise tasting menu. Couldn’t really ask for better. Outstanding food, cosy restaurant with lovely ambiance and superb staff. Nice touch that the chef came out to present some of the dishes. Each course was paired expertly with an appropriate wine. All rounded off with coffee and petit fours - a fantastic dining experience, we’ll definitely be back!

A delicious birthday meal, with excellent service. Original and surprising delicious food combinations and excellent wines. Sadly very quiet on this latest visit, following heavy snowfall in the area resulting in cancellations. We are lucky enough to live in walking distance.

10/10Once again the food was excellent - how Mathew keeps coming up with the individual dishes is a credit to his ability. Initially concerned how the front of house would be with the departure of Faye but need not have worried. Her replacement, Violet was absolutely fantastic with her knowledge and descriptions of the food and drinks. Cannot fault this restaurant and highly recommend to all those who like good food.

10/10Outstanding! We happened to be the only people booked in for a meal but they were kind enough to open for us. It was an intimate and lovely affair, and we had a chance to get to chat with the chef and staff. Food was beyond amazing. We have booked in again for six weeks time!

9.5/10Fantastic food and service. Very inventive dishes all bursting with flavours. Beautiful matching wines and the soft drinks were very tasty too. They catered really well for dietary exclusions which was really appreciated. My only criticism is that the restaurant was a bit cold and there was a faint damp smell.

10/10Great to be back after 7 years. Wilder takes what Wild Garlic started and has refined the entire experience. Great ingredients cooked with care and skill. Lovely wine pairings really made the experience so special.
