the staff at the main reception was very friendly and helpful, the beautician I had was brilliant she answered all the questions I had to ask and also gave me advice on skin care products I can use at home to get the best results for my skin, the members of staff at the restaurant was friendly I asked for a vegan opinion for my afternoon tea and I was given that, the afternoon tea was great I would definitely revisit again.

The food was nice but didn’t blow me way if I’m honest. The fries are very over salty, the steak baguette with mushrooms on top just doesn’t work… We had to get up and ask for cutlery and drinks etc.

Afternoon tea for three of us following a birthday treat (massage) for my son’s partner. Sandwiches were fresh and scones were warm and delicious. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back!

The staff were so lovely and friendly. We had a good giggle with them. We just had sandwiches and chips but they were nice, the puddings were really good. Definitely recommend

Lots of dirty tables in restaurant as we took our seats. There seemed to be lots of staff, but they were not doing very much. Ordered 2 glasses of champagne, some bread & oil to start & then 2 jacket potatoes. Champagne arrived, was delicious. We ordered a jug of water, didn’t arrive. 45 minutes later our jacket potatoes arrived. They did not look very appetising, coleslaw was all congealed! We mentioned we hadn’t had our bread yet, it arrived after jackets. Very disappointed. In food & service.

The staff were lovely, very polite and friendly. The service was excellent, but we were disappointed by the quality and availability of the food. Some options on the menu were not available at the time we booked, which was frustrating for one of our party, who has a very restricted diet (for medical reasons). The bread for the sandwiches was almost stale, and it looked as though the kitchen was running out of certain fillings, as some sandwiches were more bread than anything else! Considering the price of the food, we expected much much better. I'd give the staff five stars, but the food really isn't up to scratch.

Really enjoyed my brunch. Very good breakfast menu. Poached eggs on gluten free toast was excellent. And the decaf latte was also really good. I sat in a sunny window and highly enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.
