The food was exquisite! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The staff explained each dish and were very pleasant and friendly. We would definitely recommend and return on our next visit to London.

7.5/10We took the three course set menu. There is hardly any option for vegetarians in Mains in the set menu. That is the reason for the lower rating. Otherwise the food is quite delicious and the presentation is very nice. The desserts are also quite good. The service is fairly good.

10/10Had a brilliant dinner at Yaatra. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and decor was very elegant. The food was wonderful and extremely filling, the paneer pasanda was the favourite dish of the night!

10/10We had a nice round table for five near the entrance - the restaurant was busy, but we didn't find the noise too much, although when I went to the loo, the downstairs area was deafening. Food was beautifully presented and the chocolate desserts in a cloud of steam deserve a special prize. Starter portions size was very good and overall it was a reasonable price for central London. Waiters were charming.

10/10We selected the dish tour of India (not correct name) but it provided samplings of various Indian food paired with wine. Amazing and delicious experience! One of the best meals on our travels from London to Rome to Athens!

5/10Overall, very disappointing. We arrived to the restaurant with the manager arguing with someone on the phone. The waiters were pleasant, however in the end very inattentive. My 19 quid old fashioned was watered down and had no taste. The papadam was good, but some were too spicy for my girlfriend so we asked for some of the non spicy ones. They never arrived. We asked again a bit later... and again they never came. The jasmine rice that we ordered to accompany the main dishes was very dry, and very bland. The rest of the dishes were fine, but the rest of the experience ruined it. To top it off, as we left, the manager was out front smoking. I won't be back and would not recommend to anyone.

We got there 30mins early but as they were setting up we couldn’t sit at the bar and had to come back. Previously we were allowed to sit inside. Overall great service and the food was delicious.

I’m shocked at the exorbitant prices and the tiny portions of the naan! I can’t believe how we paid £24 for 4 pieces of paneer in apparently a cashew nut and lotus seed gravy when it really just looked like an orange gravy… The bread basket is £12 and comes with three tiny garlic naan, butter naan and tandoori roti. And it was not good- felt a bit hard and dry not the usual fluffy naans you would expect from a tandoor. Be warned that there are no veggies to speak of, we tried looking in the sides but then just went with the black daal- which again was a tiny portion and very runny- I tried looking for the daal in all that gravy! I asked for some chillies and was told that I can give you some chopped chillies and will bring the onion salad - I was charged £4 for red onions!! Shocking I think the restaurant is trying to make money with deals but that there are always hidden extras and you can’t charge extortionate prices for tiny naans and rice that people will need to keep re orderin

8.5/10I took a friend to lunch to celebrate his retirement and had the "Michelin set menu". The ambience is great and given the location what we experienced represented solid value for money. My guest was impressed and the food was good overall but I have been picky on the food rating. My Lamb starter could have been rested for longer as it was slightly tough which spoiled what was a well seasoned dish and the presentation of several of the dishes whilst good was not excellent (the Chicken main looked very "tandoori house" and a bit soupy and the fish presentation was a bit flat. It was also irksome that the set menu had no rice or naan with the mains - a minor irritation to have to order these as a separately costed item. I know that they are only Michelin listed and don't have a star, but these small points are what would lift a very good experience to a great one and could get them that accolade. Don't let my picky comment put you off however as it was overall a good meal in a great location.

10/10We made a reservation here after researching reviews online! The ambience was amazing. After being in the loud crowds it was amazing to step into the calm and organized environment of this restaurant. The food was delicious and presented well. The portions were appropriate. The waitstaff were attentive and provided helpful suggestions. The saffron rice was amazing as was the assorted breads. The price may seem high for some but it is very reasonable given the attention to detail and ambience of this spectacular establishment! It is only a 6 minute walk from Westminster Abbey. Also the bathrooms were beautiful.

7/10We really enjoyed the venue, tastefully converted - and relaxed environment. The starters were great. Beautifully cooked scallop, prawns and crab for our group - and we had high hopes for the main courses - unfortunately, they were just ok. The fish was a touch overcooked and the medium rare lamb chops were certainly not pink! Service was attentive - overall, expensive given cooking of the food

+1We went for lunch so it was quiet and we were the second set of people to arrive after opening. It was a hot day and the waiter offered us water straightaway. I had put notes on the booking about the occasion and my food allergies, but these seemed to have been unread. However, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes and could advise what I could eat and how they could accommodate me. Food was superb and each course arrived quickly. In particular, the scallops I ordered for starters were soft and tasty. My vegetarian husband had some good menu options too. I was disappointed that they did not acknowledge that it was my husband’s birthday as written in the booking notes so there wasn’t even complimentary chocolates or coffee. Also, they gave us a full priced bill despite us booking on the 50% summer offer and we had to ask them to rectify this. Overall the food was excellent and came quickly with minimum wait.
