Amazing food, things I’ve had many times before taken to the next level, like hummus or beef skewers - delicious! And that was some of the best baklava ever too. Service was a bit less attentive and we had to catch their attention for drinks, water refill, collecting empty plates etc, but overall it was a great evening anyway.

The food is amazing! The Baklava is top 1 or 2 in the London! Very outstanding! The main dished is very delicious, and the lime seabass as a starter, is super good and full of surprises! So yummy!

Nice Turkish restaurant with excellent food and lovely ambience, we will be back soon. Tried the artichokes and beef which were both very good, potatoes also remarkable and nice oven backed bread with yogurt. Can’t wait to try other dishes!

Summary: Underwhelming and overpriced Baked bread - good, but you only get one piece for £5 Muhammara - good, probably the best dish out of what we ordered Levrek Marin (Seabass) - average, nice enough Izgara Enginar (Artichoke) - this was probably the worst of what we ordered. it's two artichoke flowers so barely any of it is actually edible, the creamy base / dip was good but not at all worth £18. Not sure how it has such good reviews. Odun Ateşinde Potatoes - good with the dips (would be quite plain without) Wouldn't recommend - we've been to much better Turkish restaurants in London. The staff were very nice though, hence the 3 stars.

We were given 3 different incorrect bills with way more than we ordered Not good or bad: - They don't have conventional tables in the main area, you have to sit next to each other and that was a bit strange.

I am a regular traveler to London and Zahter is one of my favorite addresses. The experience is almost perfect from the team, the food and the atmosphere. I try to visit Zahter every time I can and I have suggested the place to many friends. Congratulations for the achievement to the team and looking forward to being back soon!

Just some steps from Liberty and in the very heart of Soho, this cozy Turkish restaurant serves meat, fish and vegetable dishes: we tried boregi, aubergines and köfte (meatballs). All delicious and authentic like their baklava and their tea we ended our meal with.

Food was great, 10/10 Service was very poor, the mains we ordered came 20 minutes apart meaning had we not opted to share one person would have finished eating whilst the other had not even received their food Our sever was OK not outright rude or impolite but given the price point of the restaurant was quite disappointed

Was very excited to try Turkish cuisine in London. The place was right in the middle of Carnabys hustle bustle. We ordered the Murhamara with the pide bread and the sea bass fish. Our bread and dip was ready and left on the counter for 10 mins and no server bothered to bring this to us. When we received it, it was cold. The staff did not seem to care much and went on their breaks. The fish was excellent, very well cooked to perfection. The ambience is simple.

This restaurant seemed nice and was busy but we left feeling quite annoyed and ripped off to be honest. For a fairly average Turkish restaurant it’s expensive. This isn’t an issue itself had the portions not been so insulting to the point it was actually amusing. £9 hummus and no bread provided nor did they ask. Are you meant to spoon it off the plate? £20 beef kebabs, 2 skewers with 3 cubes of beef. £20 prawns with 4 tiny prawns. £10 potatoes (!!) and there were literally 6 baby potatoes on the plate. Not only were we feeling highly ripped off for every single item but the service was BAD. The lady got our order so wrong that one completely wrong item was delivered and one was repeatedly missed despite reminding them 3 times. The table of 6 behind us just got up and walked off they were so fed up. Even with the £50 fork discount (which they obviously didn’t apply without a reminder) it was still expensive. AVOID this place and a lesson to the owners-don’t be so incredibly stingy.

Absolutely delicious dishes, freshly prepared in the hot coals oven in front of you at the counter table. Pide and yoghurt dip were moreish. Mince pastries, sizzling prawns and superb seabass ceviche were devoured with delight. Washed down with a refreshing Turkish rosè and Efes beer. Lovely place just off Carnaby Street with a relaxed vibe plus outdoor seating.

We had a booking to 8:30pm. We arrived and were told “ this is the only table we have available”. This table was not actually a table. They offered us 2 seats at the window with a gigantic radiator on our legs, which didn’t allow us to have space to seat properly. After showing our dissatisfaction with this table, the lady said they could try to arrange a table upstairs. After seeing 4 people getting out of the upstairs area, we waited 20 min without any news from the waitress. When I asked what was happening, they explained that it was a table of 4 and they were waiting for a table of 2 to be available. This showed a lack of flexibility as the table of 4 was 2 individual tables that could be separated. We then waited for the table of 2 to be available and we sat there. Note that the table of 4 was next to ours and never got occupied until we left the restaurant at 10:30pm. This all experience made us not appreciate the night as we waited 30 min to have a proper table.
