Vegan food is here to stay and its getting so good even Marco Pierre White is serving it in his restaurants. Gone are the days of claggy bean burgers and worthy salads, plant-based cuisine has evolved and now has added pizazz.
What about chicken-free fried chicken at the Mailbox? Or a rainbow-coloured Caribbean salad in Digbeth? Or how about a Thai burger at The Bullring approved by the Vegan Society? Birmingham is showing diners that helping the planet doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour.
