All stuff is Italian. We had a really authentic experience
A smart South London district with an electric skyline, Battersea is by the river, so many eateries have stunning views of the Thames and of the iconic, Art Deco-era Battersea Power Station. Though it’s south of the river, the area is actually very central. It’s located in Zone 1 and well served by Tube and train stations, making restaurants in Battersea easy to travel to. Battersea is a well-heeled residential neighbourhood, with lots of sophisticated bars and places to eat. Battersea restaurants often specialise in modern British and European cuisine, though there is a good selection of world food, too.
If you’re seeking global flavours, try Margarita Loca. Family-friendly, and close to Clapham Junction Station, this restaurant is all about Mexican excellence. Expect all the traditional favourites like salsa, guacamole and chilli, along with a few more adventurous dishes like the tropical salmon steak with mixed beans and fiesta salad.
Moving closer to home, Gaslight Grill at the Lost Angel is bedecked with glittering gold accents and feature lighting. The cuisine is modern British, and features posh versions of traditional pub grub, such as sea bass with pak choi and lemongrass bisque.
